Gurugram has more IB and IGCSE schools than anywhere else in the NCR (the National Capital Region around Delhi).
Most of them are along the Golf Course Road and Aravali corridor. Places at the most sought-after schools, such as the American Embassy School, Pathways and Heritage Xperiential, are hard to get. Start 3 to 8 months ahead, with your IKAN consultant's help. For an American curriculum, the American Embassy School in Delhi's Chanakyapuri is still the gold standard. It is a workable 45-minute commute.

02Healthcare
Hospitals and doctors
Gurugram has two of India's most respected flagship private hospitals, Medanta and Fortis Memorial Research Institute, as well as the well-regarded Artemis and Max networks. All the hospitals below hold JCI (the international accreditation) or NABH (India's own). All have English-speaking teams and a desk for international patients. Full international health insurance is essential.
